2024 annual prize giving Gagan Ganj Vihar Pariyatti Education Center, Kathmandu, Nepal.

2024 annual prize giving ceremony was held at  Sri Raj Kirti Vihar Dhamma School in Chabahil, Kutubhil, Kathmandu, Nepal on July 07, 2024 in the distinguished patronage of Most Venerable Bhikkhu Tapassidhamma, as their chief guest the President of Sri Charumati Stupa Development & Conservation, Vice President of World Alliance of Buddhists (WAB), Executive Committee Member of All Nepal Bhikkhu Association, Chief Abbot of Sri Charumati Buddha Vihar, Kathmandu, Nepal, Founder and President of Sri Charumati Buddhist Mission – Nepal & Senior Advisor & Representative of Nepal of Mettavalokana International Buddhist Publication Centre of Sri Lanka.

At this occasion the prizes offered to children studying Pariyatti at the Gagan Ganj Vihar Pariyatti Education Center. Gagan Ganj Vihar Pariyatti Education Center is the only Pariyatti Education Center in Chabahil area, in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The school hierarchy including the chief advisor of the Pariyatti Shiksha, Anju  shakya, Thakali Nhucheratna Shakya, the officials of the said Pariyatti Shiksha, Ratna Shakya, Anita Shakya, Anju Shakya, kiran Shakya & a large gathering of parents and students were present on the occasion.

The students & parents lined up along the path to the entrance at the Assembly Hall forming the guard of honour to receive the Chief Guest along with the other distinguish guests arriving for the Prize Giving.

The Chief Guest in his address spoke appreciatively of the school having been able to rise and meet the many challenges of the past and whatever was to come in the year ahead. He applauded the school for having contributed to the Nation’s life over its brief history equipping young learners with English knowledge, a burning need of the country while preserving the local culture and identity. Taking examples and, he stressed the importance of planning for the future and working towards aims of the country with a collective mind if Nepal needs to move forward from where it is now.

The Chief Gust and the Officials took the stage to involve in the distribution of prizes  in the academic year 2024. It had been a pleasurable moment to witness a large number of students cross the stage to receive their prizes amidst rapturous applause of parents in the audience.

The intensity and the excitement of the audience reached its peak with the announcements of the names of the most eminent students of the year.

The Chief Guest, Most Venerable Bhikkhu Tapassidhamma, wished to the students. That is all that I would like to report to you. Hopefully, “the four all-embracing methods” can contribute to the efficiency of intercultural and interreligious dialogues and help to promote world peace, harmony and acceptance. Let us take this opportunity to think more deeply about the sustainable development of humankind and to devise practical strategies towards that goal. I wish to encourage everyone to strive to work together in accomplishing this worthy endeavor.
